and the meeting witnessed an exchange of visions regarding the developments of the situation in Gaza, where the Foreign Minister reviewed The determinants of the Egyptian position on the Palestinian issue, highlighting the efforts made by Egypt to implement the ceasefire agreement in Gaza and the exchange of hostages and families in its three stages, the enforcement of humanitarian aid and the importance of speeding up early recovery programs in a way that paves the way for the process of reconstruction. The Minister stressed the need to find a political horizon for the Palestinian -Israeli conflict that leads to the establishment of a Palestinian state based on the two -state solution. Between Egypt and the United States, expressing its appreciation for the pivotal role that Egypt plays to reduce the escalation in the region, and to achieve security and stability in the Middle East. It also valued the mediation efforts that I had to reach the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
