The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration meets the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Madagascar
He met d. Badr Abdel -Ati, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, today, Wednesday, with & quot; Madagascar Foreign Minister, on the sidelines of the forty -sixth regular session of the Executive Council of the African Union. Egypt was keen to encourage Egyptian investments in Madagascar, and to enhance trade exchange to serve the interests of the two countries. He also expressed Egypt’s aspiration to activate bilateral agreements and advance cooperation efforts in vital sectors such as agriculture, infrastructure, health, education and capacity building, while emphasizing the important role that Egyptian companies can play in supporting economic development in Madagascar.
on their part The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Madagascar affirmed her country’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Egypt in various fields, praising the Egyptian role in supporting the issues of the African continent, and her interest in enhancing development and investment frameworks in African countries.
The two sides also discussed the importance of joint coordination within the Union The African, and enhancing cooperation in regional and international forums, especially with regard to the exchange of support for nominations in international organizations, reflects the strength of relations between the two countries. The two sides agreed to continue coordination and consultation on files of common concern, and to enhance cooperation to serve the interests of the two peoples.
