The Middle East Aircraft and Interior Design Maintenance Exhibitions attract 5 thousand visitors

Dubai, February 12/ WAM/ The Middle East exhibition “for the maintenance, repair and renovation of aircraft” and “interior design of aircraft 2025” attracted at the end of their activities in Dubai 5,000 visitors from 105 countries around the world, registering their largest session so far.

The event received more than 8,300 visitors, an increase of 11% compared to the previous year, in addition to the participation of 268 exhibitors from more than 100 countries, who reviewed their latest products and services in the after -sales market.

Etihad Engineering, one of the leading international companies in the services of maintenance, repair and renewal of aircraft, revealed its plan to double its revenues from about 270 million dollars at the end of 2023 to $ 540 million by 2030, in addition to expanding their operating capabilities by adding new aircraft sheds in Abu Dhabi , Within the framework of its ambitious strategy for growth.

“Satter”, one of the “Airbus” services companies, and the Union of Engineering Aviation, also announced their intention to conclude an agreement to develop an integrated solution to the chain of supply material services, which reflects the rapid developments in the sector and continuous investments in new facilities and technologies.

The “Joe Live Theater” platform continued to host discussion sessions during the second day of the event, as the sector leaders discussed many places that paint the features of the future of the sector in the region.

During a discussion session on “The expansion of the use of sustainable aviation fuel”, Boeing Regional Director of Boeing in the Middle East and North Africa region, said that the expansion of the use of sustainable aviation fuel is necessary, but the most important thing is to ensure its true sustainability as the biggest challenge lies In building an integrated system to reduce costs, increase production, and ensure that airlines adopt this fuel despite its high cost compared to traditional fuel.

He added that the UAE has an integrated value series that qualifies it for leadership in this field, as it deserves the achievements that have been achieved so far, stressing its confidence that it will continue its leadership in adopting sustainable aviation fuel at the global level.

In light of the pivotal role played by the aviation sector in economic development in the region, the session “The Future of Maintenance, Reform and Renewal in the Middle East” that was held during the event was reviewed by valuable visions of a group of experts, including Marcel Gert-Noretzs And Natalie Stone, Director of Materials Solutions in Customer Programs at General Electric Aviation, and Joan Tae, Director of ST Engineering.

Marcel Gert -Nuritzsh said during the session that the region possesses the capabilities it needs to become one of the leading international centers in the aviation sector, but achieving this requires close cooperation between airlines and indigenous manufacturers and maintenance, reform and renewal services providers and governmental organizational authorities to draw a unified vision for the future of the sector, pointing to The strengthening of local supply chains and investment in the next generation of aviation specialists will be decisive workers.
