The Gulf Girl Women’s Charity in Al-Khobar today, Tuesday, the twenty-fifth edition of the “Creative Jalabiyas” exhibition, celebrating a quarter of a century of empowering Saudi women and promoting national heritage, amid a remarkable community presence, continuing until the eleventh of this November.

The exhibition witnessed a large turnout that reflects the community’s confidence in the association’s outputs, as it is characterized by the great diversity of exhibits that meet the taste of different segments, while preserving the authentic heritage identity mixed with touches of modernity that keep pace with the aspirations of the new generation.

His Excellency the CEO of the association, Dr. Ibtisam Al-Jubeir, confirmed that the arrival of the exhibition in its twenty-fifth edition represents a living testimony to the association’s commitment. Al-Rasekh aims to create a long-term impact, noting that the initiative is completely in harmony with the goals of sustainable development and the Kingdom’s vision of empowering women economically and socially.

The exhibits were distinguished by presenting the “Saudi dress” with a modern vision inspired by the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince. The designer, Noura Al-Saleem, who has 25 years of experience, explained that she worked to integrate the originality of fashion from the four different regions of the Kingdom into unified designs, with a focus on “Eastern Pearls” as a prominent aesthetic element that reflects Local identity.

Empowering the economy and qualifying craftswomen

In the context of economic empowerment, the role of the association’s “Ataa Al Khair” center emerged in qualifying Saudi craftswomen, as board member Fatima Hazza Al-Subaie revealed the center’s success in offering products made by 100% Saudi hands, including prayer rugs, Ramadan gifts, and crochet works, confirming the ability of these products to compete with imported goods.
