200 billion dirhams Türkiye trade with Arab countries in 2024

Dubai, February 13 / WAM / Murad Evin, President of the Turkish -Arab Economic Forum, said that Turkish -Arab economic relations are witnessing a continuous development in light of the rise in trade between the two sides to more than 200 billion dirhams last year.
He added in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM”, on the sidelines of the activities of the third day of the World Summit of Governments 2025, that the comprehensive economic partnership agreement between the UAE and Turkey contributed to raising the trade movement between the two countries by 11% in 2024 in addition to enhancing mutual investments between my community Business in the fields of solar and electrical energy in addition to the aviation sector.
He pointed out that the Turkish -Arab Economic Forum focuses on strengthening economic relations with the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and North Africa, noting that more than 80% of his country’s foreign trade takes place with Central Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North Africa.
He said that Turkey’s gross domestic product is close to 1.2 trillion dollars, and that the calculation of 80% of these trade relations shows a clear expansion in his country’s economic relations, noting that Turkey will focus during the next stage to integrate advanced technology into industry and aviation.
He pointed out that the UAE is leading the region in the field of using artificial intelligence techniques and advanced applications, which is embodied by the axes of the global government summit in its 12th session; Where future governments are pronounced, which requires strengthening Arab and international cooperation in order to benefit from the rapid development of technology.
