Dubai Municipality launched during the World Summit of Government 2025, the digital building platform (Building Intelligence Platform); The latest qualitative publications to enhance the future of smart cities, which represents an advanced platform, provides comprehensive and updated data on buildings in the Emirate of Dubai, in addition to the emirate’s aspirations to be a sustainable and advanced center for technology, including the smart construction sector.

The new platform comes within the municipality’s efforts in enhancing the efficiency of the sustainable urban planning system, formulating an integrated and clear vision that enhances the civilized scene, and makes Dubai a more leadership city in the field of sustainability and quality of life.

The platform supports investment decisions, in line with the Dubai Economic Agency D33, by providing accurate information that helps to direct investments and enhance the emirate’s competitiveness at the global level.

The “digital buildings platform” is a comprehensive platform and a reliable source that allows access to detailed information about the buildings in the emirate; It provides accurate data about the number of floors, height, region and total terrestrial spaces (GFA), and multiple uses for each building, which help investors and real estate developers in making studied decisions.

The platform also provides information about the number of apartments and residential and commercial units in each building, the sizes of units and spaces, and the availability of economic data for the building includes; Commercial activities, rental value, demographic data, maintenance cost, and basic price assessment.

Engineer Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Acting Director General of Dubai Municipality, said that the idea of ​​the digital buildings platform came in keeping with the growth that the Emirate of Dubai continues to achieve, and to confirm its imprint in formulating the model of future cities.
