The UAE and Sultan Qaboos Universities Tollan 5 innovative research projects

Al Ain on February 26/ WAM/ The United Arab Emirates University and Sultan Qaboos University granted funding for five pioneering research projects within the joint research program between the two universities, as they are one of the leading universities in the field of scientific research in the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman.
This cooperation reflects a joint commitment to the development of knowledge and the development of innovative research solutions for urgent social challenges, as selected projects cover multidisciplinary fields that are in line with national priorities in both countries, including public health, progress in pharmaceutical industries, material science, water security, and digital economy.
These research efforts aim to address urgent issues such as disease modeling, cancer treatment innovations, sustainable industrial materials, water resources management, and entrepreneurship in emerging digital platforms.
By taking advantage of the experiences of researchers from both institutions, this program enhances innovation, strengthens regional research capacity, and contributes to resolving the main challenges facing the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman.
Dr. Rami Bayram, co -deputy for scientific research affairs at the Emirates University, said that cooperation between the two universities represents an important step in regional academic cooperation, by enhancing scientific research, which is not only limited to improving academic excellence but also to find realistic practical solutions in both countries .
For his part, Dr. Ghazi Al -Rawash, Dean of Scientific Research at Sultan Qaboos University, stressed the importance of the role of the program in enhancing strong research cooperation, allowing faculty and students to work together in high impact projects that address national and regional challenges.
The joint research program between the United Arab Emirates and Sultan Qaboos represents the commitment of both institutions to enhance research excellence, encourage innovation, and strengthen ties between the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman, while the two universities in the future continue to explore the opportunities to expand research cooperation that benefits the academic, industrial and society in general.
