The Ukrainian army announces a successful counter -attack in Donetsk

Ukrainian forces announced on Wednesday that they had carried out a successful counter -attack in the Donetsk region (east), and took control of the village of Kotlene, near a main road and from the city of Boukrovsk, which is a logistical center.
The Ukrainian unit participating in the process stated in a social media publication that “controlling this site was to allow the occupiers to reach the Boukerrovsk-Dinperro Highway.”
The Russian forces have taken control of the village of Kotlene since the end of January, according to the “Dibastat” specialized website close to the Ukrainian army.

The site announced that this area near an important mining digging was liberated, and Russia has not previously announced control.
This successful counter -attack will be, if confirming, rarely good news for Ukraine, whose army has been declining on the eastern and northeastern front for several months, in the face of more numerical and better Russian forces.
Ukrainian President Foludmir Zellinski confirmed on Tuesday that the situation was “improving” in the vicinity of the Menjed Pokrovsk city, the center of the fighting in the eastern Donetsk region.
But the Russian army has become just a few kilometers from the M04 highway “M04” that connects Bokrovsk Penbero, and from the administrative border of the central Dniproptrovsk region, where its entry will be a precedent since its broad -scale attack in Ukraine in February 2022.
