Dubai, March 2 / WAM / Al -Wasl will meet tomorrow with the Qatari Al -Sadd in the first leg of the AFC Champions League, at the Zabeel Stadium in Dubai.
Al -Wasl had qualified after he came fifth in the league stage of the continental championship that was launched in this version with its new system, while the dam qualified after it came fourth.
The first 8 teams out of 12 teams for the West region qualify for the round of 16.
Saudi clubs lead the confrontations of this role, as Al -Hilal, Al -Ahly and Al -Nasr also qualified for it, while the Qatari Rayyan, the Iranian independence of Tehran, and the Uzbek Bakhtakor also qualified.
The Al-Wasl team hopes to repeat its victory over the dam this year, after they met in the UAE Super Cup, and Al-Wasl won 1-0 in Doha, while their confrontation with the AFC Champions League ended at Al Wasl Stadium with a 1-1 draw.
Al -Wasl also aspires to improve its results this season after his decline in the Emirati league competition, where he is sixth with 27 points. In contrast, Al -Sadd is second in the Qatari league table with 37 points and one point behind the leaders Al -Duhail.
