Friday is the deadline for receiving registration requests for students of the second episode in the advanced track

The Ministry of Education confirmed that next Friday, March 7, 2025, will be the deadline for receiving requests for registration in the advanced path for students of the second episode, grades from the fifth to eighth for the next academic year 2025-2026, stressing that the registration door will not be reopened after this date.

An urgent invitation to register
The Ministry called on all parents who want to register their children in the advanced path to expedite the completion of the procedures before March 7, as there will be no extension of the registration period after this date, as this path is dedicated to academic outstanding students, and we look forward to receiving applications according to the specified standards.

The Ministry affirmed through its official digital channels its keenness to simplify the registration process through the electronic platform, noting that the initial approval of the requests takes 3 working days, while the results of the tests will be announced within 10 working days from the date of their conduct.

Conditions of registration and admission standards
On the criteria for admission, one of the directors of government schools explained that registration is available for fifth -graders until the eighth of the citizens of the state and the citizens of the female citizens, provided that they are achieved for the requirements of academic candidacy, which include:

90%(A) in the English language and mathematics for students from the fourth to fifth grade.
80%(b) in science for students moved between different grades to the eighth grade.

He added: “The aim of these criteria is to ensure that students enrolled in the advanced path have the ability to keep up with the advanced curricula in mathematics, science and English, which require analytical skills and advanced logical thinking.”

– The required documents
The Ministry confirmed that registration is done through the official website of the Ministry of Education, and includes the following steps:
1. Introduce the request via the digital platform after completing the admission criteria.
2. Choose the advanced path within the registration options in government schools.
3. Perform admission tests in English, mathematics and science subjects.
4. Waiting to announce the results according to the approved schedule.

With regard to the required documents, the ministry explained that students need to submit:
• An Emirati identity valid.
• The student’s birth certificate for the children of female citizens, with a copy of the Emirati mother’s identity.
• Proof of documented housing (rental contract, electricity bill, or home ownership certificate).
• The final academic certificates for the previous year (it is required to be official and accredited).
• Equate academic certificates for students from schools outside the country.

A message to parents
The Ministry stressed the importance of completing the requests before the specified date, noting that the advanced path provides a distinguished educational opportunity for outstanding students, in line with the state’s vision to develop a global competitive educational system.
