Egyptian students in Jordan embody an honorable image in the House of Representatives elections

The head of the Egyptian community at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, student Omar Ashraf, affirmed the keenness of Egyptian students to actively participate in the House of Representatives elections, pointing out that this participation represents an honorable image for Egyptian youth abroad.
Ashraf said, in statements to a correspondent with the Middle East News Agency in Amman: “We are forming awareness groups on social networking sites among students to encourage them to participate politically and give voice.” With their votes, and two days before the elections, we are keen to organize means of transportation such as buses to ensure that everyone comes to the embassy and participate fully.”
He added, “We are keen to follow up on all the initiatives offered by the Egyptian state to Egyptians abroad, and raise awareness of them among young people to ensure that they fully benefit from them. We also work to motivate Egyptian youth abroad to exercise their rights and actively participate in political life, including continuous communication with representatives of electoral districts to listen to students’ suggestions and observations, and work to improve Representing them and presenting their voice in an appropriate and influential manner within Parliament.
Ashraf pointed out that the number of Egyptian students registered at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan reaches 845 students representing various specializations, including physical therapy, engineering, pharmacy, law, nursing, and others.
Ashraf concluded his statements by saying: “Our goal in participating is to present a bright image of Egypt’s youth abroad, through commitment “With national duty, active participation in the elections, and following up on everything the state provides to support Egyptian citizens abroad.”
