المملكة: The Saudi Health Council launches a national diabetes platform

The Saudi Health Council, represented by the National Diabetes Center, launched a comprehensive electronic national platform to review activities and events related to this disease for the year 2025, with the aim of enhancing awareness of diabetes and unifying national efforts to combat it.
This platform comes in response to the speech of the Saudi Health Council No. 1-41816 on (10/8/1446 AH), and embodies the center’s commitment to raising the level of health awareness among society and enhancing the prevention of this chronic disease.

Events and activities

The new platform aims primarily to facilitate the process of exchanging information between the various authorities concerned with combating diabetes, and ensuring the collection of data related to events and related activities in a central and organized manner.
The Saudi Health Council stated that the National Diabetes Center seeks, through this initiative, to “achieve the utmost cooperation and coordination between all parties, in the interest of achieving our national goals in the field of diabetes control.”
The platform allows all concerned authorities to register the activities and events that it plans to implement within the 2025 plan, by filling out an electronic model dedicated via the link: «http://g.ac.sa/fus».
The Saudi Health Council called on all concerned authorities to initiate its activities, stressing that this platform represents a “real starting point towards coordinating efforts and uniting visions in order to combat diabetes and limit its spread in the Kingdom.”
