"support" Collaborate with "Lyon Air" To provide maintenance, repair and age services

Abu Dhabi, March 5/ WAM/ Sanad Group, who is entirely owned by Mubadala Investment Company “Mubadala”, has entered into a new partnership for five years with “Lyon Air”, the largest private airline in Indonesia.

Under this agreement, “Sanad” will provide maintenance, repair and Umrah services to the V2500 engines, which operate the fleet of “Lyon Air” Airbus A320, including the aircraft operated by the “Super Air” and “Patek Air”.
The signing of the agreement was attended by His Excellency Abdullah Salem Al -Dhaheri, the country’s ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia and the Association of Southeast Asian countries “Asian”, while Mansour Janahi, Managing Director and CEO of Sanad Group, and Denis Kirana, CEO of Batam Aero Technics of the company “Leoner”, was attended And Indonesia.
This partnership is based on providing maintenance services for the V2500 engine, which is produced by International Aero Enegens, which is a milestone in the aviation sector since he entered the service in 1989.

Today, the V2500 engine operates a fleet exceeding 2,600 aircraft, and it serves more than 170 airlines around the world, recording 275 million flying hours since it entered operations, which confirms its high efficiency, reliability and durability.

Since 2023, the number of V2500 engines operating around the world has reached more than 5280 engines, which reflects its great importance in the modern aviation sector.
Sanad will adopt its advanced facilities in Abu Dhabi to provide a comprehensive service for the V2500 engines for Lyon Air.

Thanks to her extensive experience she gained through the service of more than 250 V2500 engine during the past five years, Sanad has been able to keep its pioneering center as a single provider of comprehensive age services for this type of engines in the Middle East region since 2012. The new agreement is strengthening the status of “Sanad” as a pioneering provider of maintenance, reform and age services, and a reliable partner for major international airlines.
Lyoner has a fleet of more than 310 aircraft, and is one of the largest aircraft operators in Southeast Asia.

The new agreement was expanded to include maintenance, repair and age services for the V2500 engines of the “Super Air Jet” and Patek Air planes- affiliated with Lyon Air. These airlines operate more than 65 V2500 engines.
Mansour Janahi said that the new agreement with the Indonesian company “Lyon Air”, the largest in the airlines in Indonesia in terms of its fleet of aircraft, contributes to strengthening the position of “Sanad” in global markets, and in establishing Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading position in providing innovative solutions.

He added that this partnership embodies a new addition to the growing “Sanad” network and its existing partnerships with Indonesian airlines for years, as well as “Sanad” trends at the level of Southeast Asian region, which is the most developed in the world aviation market, noting that this agreement confirms the success of relations between the two countries in enhancing economic and industrial cooperation.
For his part, Dennis Kerana said that the extensive experience of “Sanad” and its ability to serve the fleet of our planes that operate the V2500 engines make it the perfect partner for us.

He explained that the agreement is not limited to being a commercial deal, but is considered as strategic cooperation that guarantees efficiency, safety and continuous reliability of the fleet of our V2500 aircraft, which is essential and vital to all our operations, as it reflects strong and growing relations between the Republic of Indonesia and the UAE in the aviation sector.
