27 players in our national football team list in preparation for the World Cup qualifiers
Abu Dhabi, March 5/ WAM/ The technical team of the first national football team, led by Portuguese Paulo Pinto, announced a list of 27 players in preparation for the gathering that precedes the confrontations of Iran and North Korea in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup for the first group.
The national team plays with Iran, in the Azadi stadium in the capital, Tehran, on March 20, while the North Korean national team will face on March 25 at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
Our team is third in its group with 10 points.
The list included Khaled Issa, Hamad Al -Muqbali, Khaled Tawhid, Ali Khasif, Muhammad Al -Attas, Lucas Bimanta, Kwami Kowido, Khalifa Al Hammadi, Alauddin Zuhair, Zayed Sultan, Khaled Al -Dhanhani, Marcus Meloni, Abdullah Idris, Yahya Nader, Makinzi Hunt, Abdullah Ramadan, Tahnoun Al Zaabi, Al -Ghassani, Harib Abdullah, Fabio de Lima, Gunatas Santos, Shouan Berara, Bruno Oliveira, Kayo Lucas, Sultan Adel and Kayo Caneido.
The team begins its gathering, in the Jabal Ali area next Sunday, with the players of Al -Ahly and Sharjah youth clubs, and Al -Wasl, and Al -Nasr after their vacuum from participating with their clubs in their Asian and Gulf matches.
