المملكة: Hajj Conference and Exhibition keeps pace with the future by launching "Innovation Zone" And a hackathon to develop the pilgrims’ experience

Business takes off "Hajj Conference and Exhibition1447 AH" In its fifth edition under the slogan "From Mecca to the world" In the city of Jeddah during the period from 9 to 12 November.
The conference aims to launch specific initiatives and sign strategic agreements that enhance the integration between technology, architecture and humanity in serving the guests of God.
Solutions and Innovations
The conference, which is organized by Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in cooperation with the Guests of God Service Programme, an international platform that brings together an elite group of experts, specialists, and representatives of countries and organizations to review the latest solutions and innovations in the Hajj system, and to build effective partnerships between the public, private, and non-profit sectors, in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The conference activities include more than 80 dialogue sessions and 60 specialized workshops, with the participation of academics, researchers, and representatives of public affairs offices. Pilgrims, benefiting more than 2,400 trainees from various countries of the world.
The conference in its fifth edition comes as an extension of the success achieved by the previous edition, which attracted more than 120,000 visitors and 220 exhibitors from 137 countries, and resulted in the signing of a number of qualitative agreements that were directly reflected in the quality of services provided during the Hajj season.
The conference reflects the comprehensiveness of the Hajj system through the participation of sectors Multiple, including: transportation, communications, health, subsistence, hotels, technology, insurance, crowd management, and logistics services, in addition to initiatives from the non-profit sector that provide innovative and sustainable solutions in serving pilgrims.
Improving the pilgrims’ experience
In conjunction with the conference, an accompanying exhibition will be held on an area exceeding 52 thousand square meters, with the participation of 260 exhibitors from various countries of the world, and it includes "Innovation Zone" Which showcases technical solutions from 15 startup companies and entrepreneurs competing in three innovative challenges aimed at developing future Hajj services.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in partnership with Umm Al-Qura University, is also organizing, as part of the conference activities, the second edition of the Hackathon. "Humanize feelings"With the aim of generating engineering, technical and design ideas and solutions to develop the environment of the holy sites and improve the pilgrims’ experience, through three main tracks: sustainable engineering solutions, smart technologies that support the experience, and designing gifts and souvenirs that express the sanctity of the place in a creative and humane spirit.
The conference also witnesses the organization of specialized workshops on "Smart solutions for crowd management" and**"Innovation in souvenir and visual experiences"**, as part of ongoing efforts to provide a more humane, innovative and sustainable Hajj experience.
