“Dubai Charity” distributes 336 thousand breakfasts inside and outside the country in 10 days

During the first ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Dubai Charitable Society succeeded in distributing 336 thousand breakfast meals to the fasting people inside and outside the country, as part of its annual Ramadan initiative, “Fast breakfast”.

The association provided 25 thousand breakfast meals per day to the fasting people of workers and those with limited income inside the country with a total outcome of 250 thousand meals in the first third of the blessed month, in the place of 86 thousand breakfast outside the country at an average of 8,600 meals per day.

Ahmed Al -Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Dubai Charitable Society, stressed that “a fasting breakfast” is a major initiative from a series of humanitarian and societal initiatives launched by “Dubai Charity” during the holy month of Ramadan within the agenda of its annual Ramadan campaign “lasts good”, which will benefit hundreds of thousands of fasting people in the Emirates and around the world, noting that this initiative reflects the spirit of solidarity and solidarity in the Emirati society and the concerted efforts between various sectors.

From the first day of Ramadan, the association began distributing breakfast meals in 31 sites that varied between mosques and workers’ housing and the areas where the workers are in the Emirate of Dubai, taking into account the highest standards of health, safety and quality, and it also distributes breakfast meals in 12 countries.

Al -Suwaidi explained that the Ramadan campaign includes four other main seasonal projects in addition to a fasting breakfast, which is the Ramadan Mir, the joy of orphans, Zakat al -Fitr and Zakat, in addition to implementing many sustainable charitable projects and initiatives, noting that the “Al -Mir Ramadan” project benefited more than 7,000 people inside the country in the first third of the holy month.

Al -Suwaidi called on the benefactors and supporters to continue giving to support the association’s projects and achieve its humanitarian goals.
