London Book Fair .. Saudi participation highlights the integrated cultural experience of the Kingdom

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia concluded its participation in the London International Book Fair 2025, which was held in the British capital, London, from 11-13 March, and visited visitors through it on Saudi culture, arts and heritage in an integrated cultural experience.
The participation was led by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority, with the participation of a group of cultural entities represented by the King Salman International Complex for the Arabic Language, King Abdulaziz House, King Abdulaziz Public Library, King Fahd National Library, and the Publishing Association.

Enhancing international cultural exchange

The Director General of the General Administration of Publishing at the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority M. Bassam Al -Bassam said that the Kingdom’s participation in the exhibition achieved its strategic goals of promoting international cultural exchange, highlighting the Saudi literary movement, and supporting Saudi authors in reaching a global audience.

He pointed out that this participation comes within the efforts of the commission continuous to consolidate the Kingdom’s position as a global cultural destination, pointing out that the pavilion received a wide praise of the participants and visitors in exchange for the authority’s initiatives and cultural content provided, reflecting the great development witnessed by the literary and cultural scene in the Kingdom.

Development of the publishing and translation industry

The pavilion reviewed many programs and initiatives aimed at developing the publishing and translation industry in the Kingdom, and witnessed a remarkable interaction of publishers and international literary agencies.
The commission shed light on the promising investment opportunities in the Saudi publishing market, which attracted the interest of the exhibition pioneers and investors in this vital sector.
In addition to the distinctive publications presented by the Saudi Saudi cultural entities participating in the pavilion to highlight the Saudi knowledge and cultural aspect.
