Egyptian Ibtisam Zayed’s victory in a bicycle race "Nad Al -Sheba Sports"

Dubai, March 16 / WAM / Egyptian Ibtisam Zayed won the Open Category for Women in the Bicycle Race for a distance of 74 km, within the activities of the twelfth edition of the “Nad Al -Sheba Sports Course”, currently held at Nad Al -Sheba Sports Complex in Dubai.
This is the first time that Ibtisam, the Egypt Olympic champion, achieved the first place in this race after several previous posts, the last of which was last year in which she ranked second.
Ibtisam Zayed is one of the most prominent Arab bikes, as she previously participated in three consecutive Olympic sessions: Rio de Janeiro 2016, Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024, as she is the African champion, and represents a model for distinguished sports that challenge difficulties, and in 2024 she achieved a record by winning 17 different titles in the track races.
Although she was broken in a collarbone in one of the races, Ibtisam did not stop the exercise of bicycles that began her passion since 2008 after previous experiences in other sports such as swimming and cake boxing.
The race was attended by His Excellency Mansour Bouasiba, President of the Emirates Bicycle Federation, who gave the starting signal, along with Nasser Aman Al Rahma, Assistant Secretary -General of the Dubai Sports Council, and Hassan Al Mazrouei, Director of the session.
Ibtisam Zayed achieved the first place with a time of 1:48:03 hours, just one -second ahead of the Ukrainian Titiana Yachkinco, which finished the race with a time of 1:48:04 hours to finish second, while her compatriot came, the first of which was a shekel in third place with a time of 1:48:52 hours.
In the competitions of the amateur category, citizens, Saeed Hassan won first place with a time of 1:34:53 hours, beating Rashid Mohammed Al -Balushi, who ranked second with a time of 1:34:54 hours, while Saeed Marwan Al Balushi came in third place with a time of 1:34:55 hours.
As for the category of female amateurs, Aisha Foulameh won first place with a time of 1: 59: 32.5 hours, followed by the goal of Ibrahim Al -Mahrazi in the second place with a time of 1: 59: 32.7 hours, then Al -Marri Farah in the third place with a time of 1: 59: 32.9 hours.
In the amateur teams category, the Dubai Police team won first place with a total time of 4: 45: 06.8 hours, while the “ABH” team finished second with 4: 45: 34.9 hours, and the “Turk” team came in third place with a time of 4: 45: 39.4 hours.
