Washington, March 19/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi, National Security Adviser, met today, His Excellency President Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, during the dinner that was held in honor of His Highness in the White House, in the presence of senior American officials.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to His Excellency President Donald Trump, and his wishes for his Excellency and the friendly American people with more progress and prosperity.
His Highness expressed his thanks to His Excellency the American President for the warm reception and generous hospitality, and to reflect the depth of the distinguished relations that bring together the two friendly countries.
His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed and His Excellency the American President discussed the prospects for the long -term strategic partnership that links the United Arab Emirates and the United States of America, and ways to enhance them in a way that reflects positively on the common interests of the two friendly countries.
His Highness affirmed the UAE’s look to continue to enhance its economic relationship with the United States by strengthening their partnership, and accelerating investments in the areas of artificial intelligence, advanced technology, infrastructure, industries, energy and health care, as these areas represent basic pillars of growth and prosperity.
His Highness praised the leadership of His Excellency President Donald Trump and his economic policies, which is an important incentive to encourage foreign direct investment and enhance economic partnerships.
His Highness, and within the official visit to the United States of America, met yesterday with Scott Beesente, the US Treasury Secretary, and discussed with him joint cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the United States of America in various economic and financial aspects, and ways to enhance them to serve the interests of the two friendly countries.
His Highness pointed out, during the meeting, that the UAE and America have great strategic relations and cooperation between the financial and business markets, pointing to the great opportunities in both countries, which enhances their partnership, and opens more horizons for them, especially in the field of investment in advanced technology and artificial intelligence.
His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed also met Michael Waltz, the US National Security Adviser, and had talks with him on ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries, and the latest developments and developments in a number of issues of common concern.
The talks dealt with efforts to consolidate the pillars of security and regional and global stability, and the two countries’ keenness to confront the current challenges, maximize development and prosperity opportunities, especially in the areas of advanced technology, artificial intelligence, energy and joint investment cooperation.
His Highness met with a number of leaders and heads of international companies, to discuss ways to build and develop its partnerships with the United Arab Emirates, and during these meetings an in -depth dialogue took place on the future of artificial intelligence and its role in accelerating the wheel of sustainable growth, promoting innovation globally, developing digital infrastructure, upgrading industrial cooperation, improving productivity and quality of life.
His Highness stressed that the UAE has gone an important way in preparing its infrastructure and economy to benefit from the rapid global developments in the field of artificial intelligence, in light of the unprecedented transformation that the world is experiencing advanced by advanced technology, which will restructure the economies completely based on innovation and creativity.
His Highness is making an official visit to the United States of America, during which he will hold official meetings with senior officials of the American administration and the poles of international companies, to discuss and ways to enhance the strategic, economic and technological partnership between the two countries.
