Esmat: The Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company is separated from the Holding before the end of the year
Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, stressed that the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company will be separated from the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company before the end of the current year 2025.
The Minister explained – in a speech during the opening of a number of projects in Ismailia Governorate – that the separation aims to be the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company as an independent entity responsible for managing, operating and maintaining transportation networks on high and high efforts, which enhances its independence from the company Holding.
