The Mohammed bin Khaled Cultural Center organizes a voluntary session on the occasion "Zayed Day for Humanity"
Al -Ain, March 21/ WAM/ The Sheikh Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan Cultural Center organized yesterday evening the “Zayed Sons of Voluntary” session on the occasion of “Zayed Day for Humanitarian Action”, within the initiative “Volunteer Antity” at the headquarters of the Cultural Center.
The event, which came under the directives of Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions, began with a presentation entitled “The legacy of Khaled and an inspiring bid march”, in the presence of a number of members of the cooperative and supportive teams of the center’s programs and activities.
Maryam Hamad Al Shamsi, Secretary -General of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, welcomed the attendees, praising the role of volunteers in embodying the Sheikh Zayed approach through their voluntary work.
Naima Qassem, the administrative director of the institutions of Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, also talked about the humanitarian initiatives launched by Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khaled Al Nahyan, such as “your volunteering belonging” and “for the sake of the Emirates”, and stressed the importance of volunteer work in the service of society.
The session was conducted by Maryam Hamad Al Shamsi, where she dealt with the axes related to Sheikh Zayed and the impact of volunteering in strengthening social responsibility. The meeting concluded with the distribution of shields and gifts to the participants in appreciation of their efforts in serving the community.
