المملكة: Field visits and questionnaires … an innovative mechanism to assess patient satisfaction in Al -Qassim

Al -Rass Public Hospital, a member of the Qassim Health Assembly, launched a qualitative initiative aimed at measuring and improving patient experience during their hypnosis in the hospital, as part of the continuous gathering efforts to improve health care quality and enhance patient satisfaction, and in line with modern trends to provide the patient’s care for the patient.
The hospital administration indicated that the initiative that started last week focuses on implementing periodic field visits to patients to measure their satisfaction with the health services provided, according to specific criteria that include the patient’s reception method, introducing the health practitioner himself, and clarifying the explanation of the medical procedures and the treatment plan prescribed for the patient by the medical team, in addition to informing the patient of the expected period of the service and enhancing positive interaction with him.

Quality of services

The initiative depends on the mechanism of continuous follow -up and evaluation that ensures monitoring notes and identifying the opportunities for improvement periodically, in order to achieve the principle of sustainable improvement and enhance the quality of the services provided, in addition to raising the levels of patient satisfaction according to the standards of the global Press Ganey indicator, which is one of the most important indicators of measuring the patient’s experience in health facilities.
