Abu Dhabi, March 27 / WAM / The Council of Muslim Elders, headed by His Eminence the Grand Imam, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, and the wise men, members of the Council, and the Secretary -General of the Council, His Excellency Chancellor Mohamed Abdel Salam, mourned with more satisfaction and delivery to God’s judgment and destiny, His Excellency the Great World Professor Dr. Muhammad Hussein Al -Mahsawi, former President of Al -Azhar University, and Chairman of the Higher Committee for the Humanitarian Brotherhood, And the preachers and the mafiris, who passed away today after a busy march of sincerity, giving and dedication to the service of his religion and country and the publication of the message of Al -Azhar and the enlightened middle thought.
The Council affirmed that the late deceased was a pioneer of dialogue, tolerance and coexistence, who carried the tolerant message of Islam to the world, leaving a great impact on the path of building bridges of understanding and human brotherhood, asking the Almighty to shroud him with the mercy of his mercy, and to dwell in his vast paradise, and inspire his family, relatives, students and all his lovers of patience and solace.
The Abrahamic family house also extended its sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to the virtue of the Grand Imam, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, and to the Al -Azhar family on the death of the great scholar, Professor Dr. Muhammad Al -Mahsawi.
