Hand Union chooses 12 players to participate in "Gulf games"

Sharjah, March 30/ WAM/ The Emirates Handball Federation announced the selection of 12 players to represent our national team in the Gulf Beach Games, scheduled for its third edition “Muscat 2025” during the period from 5 to 11 April in the Omani capital.

His Excellency Nabil Ashour, President of the Federation, said that the final list of the Union Mission within the delegation of the National Olympic Committee includes 15 people, including 12 players, after a stage of preparations during the last period.

Ashour explained that the hand team delegation will go to Muscat on April 3, in preparation for the start of the competitions, especially since the Gulf beach games are an important step to revive the Gulf championships in various types of sports, in a way that contributes to the advancement of the capabilities of the people of the countries of the region, in addition to other values ​​represented by the Gulf championships in enhancing cooperation, love and interdependence between the people of the region.

The head of the Handball Federation praised the positive cooperation from Al -Ahly Youth Club officials in providing the stadium to conduct training, and his keenness to succeed in preparations for participating in Gulf games, indicating that the players have fought several stages of preparation between 6 to 7 different gatherings.
