Officials: Hosting the Olympic Committee for Sports Federations’ headquarters is a strategic step towards institutional integration

Abu Dhabi, March 31/ WAM/ Sports federations officials confirmed that the signing of an agreement to host their sporting headquarters in the National Olympic Committee building is a strategic step that establishes the values and foundations of institutional integration, and enriches sports work to the best levels of global competitiveness.
His Excellency Mohammed bin Thaloub Al -Darai, President of the Emirates Judo Federation, described the step as a strategic station in the paths of national sports work, sports governance, to support the promotion of sports work, plans and programs aimed at development, leading to the sports achievements of the UAE.
He explained that the presence of sports federations under one roof at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee reflects the great efforts made by the National Olympic Committee, with their keenness to provide the environment that stimulates work and logistical support, other development programs, and the concepts of institutional and vocational work.
His Excellency Major General Dr. Mohamed Al -Murr, President of the Emirates Athletics Federation, said that this step represents a pivotal indication of the strategic paths of the development of national sport, because of its deep vision within the framework of institutional governance, and the consolidation of the approach to work based on ambitious future plans aimed at achieving qualitative achievements.
He pointed out that the National Olympic Committee plays a pioneering role in providing logistical support and adopting qualitative initiatives, in addition to anticipating the future of Emirati sport, in a way that enhances its development by enabling various sports federations and supporting their goals.
His Excellency Nabil Ashour, President of the Emirates Handball Federation, stressed that the decision gives these federations a greater opportunity for coordination, cooperation, exchange of experiences on best practices, and holding joint meetings, in line with the goals of the next stage in reaching the level of achievements for the UAE in all sporting fields.
Ashour pointed to the great efforts made by the National Olympic Committee in supporting this step, ensuring their implementation, advancing sports federations programs, plans aimed at developing, and upgrading the performance of sports federations.
His Excellency Noura Al Jasmi, President of the Emirates Federation of Feather, Vice -President of the AFC, explained that the signing of the agreement to host the headquarters of sports federations in the Olympic Committee enhances joint cooperation, between these federations, and contributes to supporting rapprochement and communication to achieve the desired goals, and implement plans and programs that aim to develop.
She stated that sports federations are looking for an important stage of institutional work, and they look forward to a better reality that leads to enabling all their employees through the common visions that eventually lead to presenting the supervising image of Emirati sport in external forums.
