The season of affection concludes with Eid Al Fitr celebrations in Dubai
Dubai, March 18 / WAM / Eid Al Fitr celebrations will begin in Dubai tomorrow and until March 22 across the emirate, within the season of love, with an integrated program, as cultural, tourist and community destinations embrace a wide range of events that combine family experiences, entertainment shows and cultural activities in a vibrant festive atmosphere.
Eid celebrations in Dubai constitute the final stop of the Walafah season, which began with Haq al-Laila celebrations and continued throughout the holy month of Ramadan. The program reflects the renewed character of authentic Emirati traditions while preserving their continuity and enhancing their presence in daily life.
The program includes government initiatives, community events, and tourism and entertainment experiences that allow the public to interact with the Eid atmosphere through cultural and artistic performances, hospitality experiences, and various family activities.
Ahmed Al Khaja, Executive Director of the Dubai Festivals and Retail Corporation, said that Eid celebrations in Dubai reflect the meanings of harmony that characterize the emirate and provide families and visitors with opportunities to spend special times in various cultural and community destinations within festive experiences inspired by the Eid atmosphere.
The events are distributed across a number of prominent locations, including Expo City Dubai, which hosts a cultural program in Terra that includes Arabic calligraphy and henna arts performances, creative workshops, in addition to heritage markets. Folklore arts groups also present heritage performances at Marina Boulevard and Nad Al Sheba Mall, while Dubai Museums and Children’s City host educational and entertainment activities directed at families and children.
Several entertainment destinations participate in the celebrations through special programs that include live shows and interactive experiences, while hotels, restaurants and shopping centers offer hospitality packages and seasonal offers that enhance the Eid atmosphere.
The program confirms Dubai’s position as a global destination for celebrations, as it combines cultural heritage with modern experiences and strengthens community ties in an atmosphere that reflects the values and authentic spirit of Eid.
