The Ministry of Health and Population announced the launch of the work of the Neurosurgery Unit at Al -Adwa Central Hospital in Minya Governorate, in a move aimed at strengthening medical services provided to the people of North Upper Egypt, and this comes in implementation of the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, during his inspection visit to the hospital, where a medical team specialized in performing the first list of surgeries for the column The spine, after the start of the experimental operation of the specialized unit, within the framework of the ministry’s plan to develop hospitals and provide advanced medical services in various governorates. The unit will contribute to strengthening the medical services provided to the residents of the region by providing the latest medical devices and technologies that allow accurate surgeries with a high level of efficiency.

And Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Emad, a specialist in neurosurgery and spine, in addition to Dr. Ahmed Salah El -Din Abdel -Moneim, anesthesia consultant, and a distinguished technical team that includes the fold of Mahmoud Mohamed, nursing technician, and Ahmed Saleh Abdel -Raouf, anesthesia technician.
