Under the patronage of Dhiab bin Zayed .. 8 teams in the International Junior Football Unity Championship
Abu Dhabi on April 1 / WAM / Al -Wahda Club announced the organization of the International Junior U -15 Championship during the period from 6 to 12 April, with the participation of 8 teams, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dhiab bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of Al -Wahda Sports Cultural Club, and with the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
The Barcelona teams, the Belgian and the Belgian Worat C Lens, the Polish Somile Olshein, and the Egyptian Vivina, are participating in the championship, in addition to 3 Emirati teams: Al -Wahda, Al -Jazeera and Yas Academy.
The matches will be held on the stadiums of Al -Wahda Academy in the Al -Shahama area, with the competitions to conclude with the final match in Al Nahyan Stadium.
The International Junior Unit Championship since its inception in 1993 is one of the oldest tournaments that are concerned with the Sunni groups in the Middle East, and over the years have contributed to the discovery and care of many young football talents that have become today one of the international football stars.
His Excellency Ahmed Awad Al -Otaiba, Vice -Chairman of Al -Wahda Football Company and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the International Junior Unit Championship, expressed his pride in holding this version of the tournament, pointing out that it has become one of the most prominent sporting events in Abu Dhabi that is concerned with developing and supporting young talents in the Middle East.
