Republican people: The industry is the hope of the Egyptian economy and the real bet to achieve sustainable development
Eng. Tariq Al -Jayoushi, Undersecretary of the Central Industry Committee of the Republican People’s Party and a member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Mineral Industries in the Federation of Industries, stressed the importance of the national strategy for the industrial sector, explaining that there is a national insistence on the advancement of the industry so that it contributes to about 20% of the national product by 2030. The industry extends until 2030, aims to settle the industry and deepen local industrialization, turn Egypt into a regional industrial center, shift towards the green economy, increase the contribution of the industry sector to the gross domestic product, raise the quality of the Egyptian product, and provide more job opportunities. The contribution of the industrial sector to the national product from 14 to 20 % annually by 2030, in addition to increasing the contribution of the green economy to 5 percent, and creating between 7 and 8 million jobs, in addition to supporting troubled factories and encouraging industrial investment, stressing that the industry is the hope of the Egyptian economy during the coming years. And providing technical support to small factories to integrate them into the official economy, and measures have also been taken to facilitate the licenses of industrial lands, with the aim of encouraging investors to establish new factories that meet the needs of the state, and contribute to rationalizing import.
