British military industries companies enhance their production of billions of dollars

British military industry companies intend to spend billions of dollars to enhance their productive capacity to meet the strong growth of their products with increased military spending for European countries with the aim of supporting Ukraine in the face of Russian invasion and reducing dependence on the United States to defend the European continent.
The Bloomberg News Agency indicated that the British government’s decision to increase the allocations for military spending to 2.5% of GDP from 2027 compared to 2.3% currently, means increasing the military spending for Britain by 6.4 billion pounds in that year.

Weak military investments

It is noteworthy that the British and European military industries companies in general suffered from poor investment in the military sector for more than a decade.
Estimates indicate that the number of workers in military industries in Britain increased during 2023 by 16% compared to 2013.
However, if small companies benefit from increasing military spending in the coming years, they may collide with the deficiency of the skilled workers required to increase their production.
