The UAE continues to progress in the global competitiveness race during 2025

Abu Dhabi, April 5/ WAM/ The UAE maintained its upward performance in the global competitiveness race during the first quarter of the year 2025 by winning advanced positions in many relevant international and regional indicators and reports.
The achieved results embodied the effectiveness and efficiency of the comprehensive development strategy pursued by the UAE, the leadership of its experience in managing government -based government work, proactive planning, and preparation for dealing with various variables and challenges.
The UAE ranked first in the world for the fourth consecutive year in the “World Entrepreneurship Report for 2024/2025 /2025 Entrepreneurship Monitor, GEM”, which ranked it as the best place to entrepreneurship and small and medium enterprises, among the 56 economies that included this year.
The UAE won first place, among the group of high -income countries in 11 major indicators out of 13 indicators, in which the report is based on experts’ evaluation of the institutional frameworks supporting the Entrepreneurial Environment.
The frameworks in which the state excelled globally included financing for entrepreneurial projects, ease of access to financing, government policies supporting entrepreneurship, government policies related to taxes and bureaucracy, government entrepreneurship programs, integration of entrepreneurship in school education, post school education, transfer of research and development results, commercial and professional infrastructure, and the ease of entering the market in terms of burdens, organizational regulations, social standards, and social standards Cultural entrepreneurship.
The UAE has established its position and maintained its classification among the first ten countries in the 2025 global power index, which was announced during the annual soft power conference in the British capital, London recently.

It was announced that the value of the national media identity of the state has been announced, from one trillion dollars to more than one trillion, two hundred and twenty -three billion dollars for the year 2025.
The UAE ranked first in the world in the national media identity performance index, and the global sixth in the strength of the national media identity, showing its advanced position on the international scene and its increasing impact in various fields.
The UAE ranked fourth in the world in the opportunities of future growth, the fourth position in the world in generosity and giving, and the seventh globally in the strength and stability of the economy, and the eighth globally in the general index of international influence, the ninth globally in both international relations, the influence in diplomatic circles, technology and innovation and the tenth center globally in investing in space exploring, and following the global audience of its affairs.
The UAE has strengthened its position one of the most stable and attractive countries to live and work after it ranked second globally in the global safety index, according to the Global Statistics website “Nomio” for 2025.
The UAE recorded a safety degree of 84.5 out of 100 points, which reflects its continuous efforts to enhance security and stability for its citizens and residents on its territory, and contributes to achieving sustainable development and consolidating its global leadership.
The “Nomio” report relies on several criteria for measuring the level of safety, including crime rates, public safety, and quality of security services, in addition to social and economic stability.
The UAE surpassed many developed countries thanks to its effective policies in applying the law and using the latest technologies in enhancing security, as well as investing in smart infrastructure that contributes to achieving a safe environment for all.
The UAE continued its leadership in the “Logistical Emerging Markets Index” in the 2025 edition, as it ranked third in the world in a list of 50 emerging markets around the world.
The report – which is an international standard for competitiveness in the logistical services sector for emerging global markets for 16 years – stressed that the UAE has made tangible progress in its endeavors to reduce the gap with countries that top the classification, which reflects the success of its investment strategy.
The report pointed to the ideal business environment provided by the UAE and its superiority over most of the emerging economies in logistical and digital opportunities and other aspects that enhance its investment attractiveness.
The UAE ranked first in the Arab world and 21 globally in the World Happiness Report for the current year 2025, which included 147 countries and witnessed most Scandinavian countries to arrange.
This year’s report included 147 countries that were classified according to several factors, including the gross domestic product of the individual, the expected health life, in addition to the opinions of the population of states.
