French Finance Minister Eric Lombard said that the European Union’s response to American customs duties may include organizing the use of data of major American technology companies, according to Bloomberg News Agency on Saturday.

On April 2, US President Donald Trump announced comprehensive fees for imports to the United States, including 20 % fees for goods from the European Union, as part of his efforts to reorganize the World Trade System.
The bloc, the largest commercial partner of the United States, pledged to take revenge on counter -procedures if necessary, including through its customs fees and tax bodies and targeting American technology companies.
