The UAE participates in the extraordinary session of the Economic and Social Council in Cairo

Cairo, April 6 / WAM / The United Arab Emirates participated in the work of the extraordinary session of the Economic and Social Council at the level of senior officials, today, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, to prepare for the ministerial session of the council scheduled tomorrow, to discuss the economic and social file for the thirty -fourth Arab summit and the fifth economic and social development summit to be held next May in Baghdad.
Like the state, His Excellency Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh – Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, and Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al Malik, Head of the Department of International Organizations at the Ministry.
Ambassador, Dr. Haifa Abu Ghazaleh, Assistant Secretary -General, Head of the Social Affairs Sector at the Arab League, confirmed in her speech during the opening session that artificial intelligence has become mainly in all aspects of life, especially economic and social, and technology and artificial intelligence were accompanied by major elements of the success of development projects for various related sectors.
She added, “We meet today in the extraordinary session of the Economic and Social Council at the level of senior officials, to discuss the important issues proposed by member states, the general secretariat and ministerial councils to be presented to the Arab Summit in its session (34) and the Arab developmental summit: economic and social in their fifth session, which will be held in exceptional circumstances that greatly affected the development gains in the region.”
