Destroyed floods lead to the lives of 30 people in the Democratic Congo

About 30 people died, due to the destructive floods in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where they also recorded severe material damage, according to local authorities.
“There are a large number of wounded who have yet been postponed, there are about 30 people,” Kinshasa Patrisoning Minister of Kinshasa Gongo Abakazi told AFP.

A while ago, the Democratic Congo authorities announced the displacement of tens of thousands of citizens and the destruction of more than 12,000 homes.
And that is after nearly eighty villages in the northeastern province of Itori, due to the flooding of Lake Albert for several days.

The regional coordination of civil protection stated in a statement at the time, that the waters of Lake Albert were flooded with nearly 80 villages in three provinces in the province of “Ituri”.

The citizens who live in villages close to the lake were invited and have not yet been affected by water to leave it as soon as possible in order to prevent more damage.
