An immediate punishment for any player standing on the ball in Brazil after the Dibai incident (video)

The Brazilian Football Association directed the referees to punish the players who stand on the ball with a yellow card, after a similar movement from the Dutch striker Mevis Depay caused a fight in the Paulista Championship final.
Three days after the Dibai incident, two players received warnings for standing on the ball during a match between Bolivia and Brazil in the South American U -17 Championship.
The Brazilian Federation said in a statement on Sunday, “Last week, the South American Football Association (Confolole) advised … the need to comply with the technical and disciplinary procedure, the indirect free kick and the yellow card, respectively, when the player does this movement,” the Brazilian Federation said in a statement on Sunday.

The Brazilian Federation stated that it followed the recommendations of the CONMIPOL in implementing the list, after Debay’s criticism of the union after media reports on the new rule, saying that he did not see a problem in what he did.
“Let’s focus on the rules that can improve sport and focus on the commercial side of football and what is beneficial to clubs, fans and players, instead of these ridiculous data,” Depaye wrote in his account on X yesterday.
Depaye stood on the ball against the opponent’s defenders on March 27, while his club Corinthians was approaching Paulista’s title during a match that ended in a negative tie against Palmeiras, after his team won 1-0 in the first leg.
Two defenders towards the former Manchester United and Barcelona player, who fell to the land, ran near the seam where Corinthians were the warm -up operation, which led to a fight between the two teams. The match stopped for several minutes.
Corinthians continued his career to win the title after the match ended in a draw without goals 16 minutes of stoppage time.
