27.5 billion dollars in the current account surplus in Japan during February

Tokyo on April 8/ WAM/ Japan achieved a surplus in the current account balance during last February, at a value of 4.061 trillion yen “27.50 billion dollars”, an increase of 48.4% annually, according to Japanese Finance Ministry data issued today “Tuesday”.

Analysts expected a 3.8 trillion yen surplus, compared to a deficit of 258 billion yen during January.

The value of Japan’s imports during February decreased by 1.9% to 8.292 trillion yen, while the value of exports increased by 10.4% annually to 9.005 trillion yen, to record Japan a trade surplus of 712.9 billion yen.

At the same time, the capitalist account of Japan recorded a deficit of 42.2 billion yen, while the financial account recorded a surplus of 2.307 trillion yen.
