Expo Sharjah reviews his exhibition agenda at the World Business Forum in Marseille

Sharjah, April 10 / WAM / The Expo Center, Sharjah, participated in the activities of the 55th edition of the World Business Forum, which was held during the period from 6 to 9 April in the French city of Marseille and hosted by the World Trade Centers Association “WTCA”, within the framework of the center’s keenness to keep pace with the latest developments and best global practices in the international exhibition, business and trade sector.
His Excellency Saif Mohamed Al -Midfa, CEO of the Center, a member of the Board of Directors of the International Federation for the Exhibition Industry “UFI” discussed during his participation in the forum with a number of participants in the forum the level of progress reached by the exhibition sector and the results achieved by the sector during the last period, referring to the volume of growth that the Expo Center contributes through the specialized exhibitions and its role in the development of the trade and business sector starting from the Emirate of Sharjah and the importance of events organized by the center annually in Facilitate the exchange of cooperation opportunities and the sustainability of business and benefit from the latest technologies to serve exhibitors and enhance competitiveness.
He stressed that the attendance of more than 300 participants from more than 50 countries around the world in the World Business Forum provided an exceptional platform to achieve several strategic goals for participation, most notably discussing cooperation, exchanging experiences and exploring more opportunities to develop services provided by Expo Sharjah in accordance with best global practices, as well as contributing to reviewing the agenda of its activities and specialized exhibitions related to the business sector.
He added that participation in the forum is part of a broader vision to enhance the role of Expo Sharjah as a leading platform for trade and business at the local and regional levels in the context of commitment to strengthening international partnerships with various global trade centers and similar institutions in an effort to attract more international events and exhibitions of Sharjah in a way that contributes to diversifying the local economy and enhancing sustainable development.
The center’s delegation contributed to the discussions during which the forum touched on the importance of adapting to economic changes through innovative strategies that ensure the sustainability and growth of the business sector. The forum also discussed strategies to accelerate expansion in emerging markets, enhance cooperation between members and support innovation in the operations and services provided within the sector to advance economic development and enhance its contribution to global economic development.
The forum dealt with many axes, including success strategies in an advanced market and free zones as growth engines, as well as exploring trade, real estate and investment trends in 2025, and included a summit dedicated to real estate that dealt with projects of global trade centers, innovation and flexibility in a changing world.
