For 3 months, Sharia decides to extend the work of the Coast Events Committee

On Thursday, Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara decided to extend the work of the National Committee for Investigation and Facts in the Sahel events.

Al -Sharaa met with the fact -finding committee in charge of investigating the coast events to display the latest developments, and it was decided to extend its work for 3 months, not extended.

A statement published by the Syrian presidency through its account on the “X” platform, today, stated that the committee will work to complete the completion of its mission and take the necessary measures for that.

The statement also said that the committee will submit its final report on the specified date.

On March 6, the regions of the Syrian coast (Lattakia, Tartous, and Banias) witnessed violent incidents and bloody confrontations that affected civilians and elements of public security.

The government held armed men loyal to former President Bashar al -Assad responsible for the attacks on its forces, while elements of the army and public security and reserve groups were accused of killings against civilians.
