8 recommendations from the Supreme Council of the Arab Doctors Union regarding the aggression on Gaza

Participants at the meeting of the Supreme Council of Arab Doctors held in Cairo, and the representatives of unions and medical associations from 18 Arab countries from the captains, heads of associations and medical deanships participate in it, their strong condemnation of the continuation of the brutal Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, and what was left by the brutal Israeli aggression from an unprecedented humanitarian and health catastrophe.

The Supreme Council of the Union of Arab Doctors and the participants in the meeting affirms the following:

1. The complete condemnation of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which killed thousands of innocent civilians, including children and women, targeting medical facilities and health infrastructure deliberately, and condemning the aggression on the West Bank and Jerusalem, which is an extension of & quot; the genocide crimes committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people.

2. The urgent call for an immediate and comprehensive endowment of the Israeli aggression, and the lifting of the unjust siege imposed on the Strip, allowing the flow of humanitarian and medical assistance without obstacles.

3. He rejected the attempts of forced displacement of the inhabitants of Gaza under any pretext, and rejected any policies calling for the displacement of Palestinians outside their lands, and considering this a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and Geneva Conventions.

4. Emphasizing the full readiness to provide support and participation in the Arab plan for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, especially with regard to the health facilities that have been destroyed, and to provide basic medical needs to support the dilapidated health system.

5. The appeal of the international community and the whole world, humanitarian organizations, medical organizations, and active parties in the region, to assume their legal and moral responsibilities towards protecting civilians, and ensuring a receipt of urgent medical support to Gaza.

Discussing ways to support and support the health sector in Gaza, in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions it is going through, by enhancing coordination between the Arab medical authorities, providing urgent assistance, and organizing efforts to treat the wounded and injured, reflecting the commitment of the Arab Doctors Union to its humanitarian and professional responsibility towards the brothers in Palestine.

A greeting of reverence and greatness to colleagues of the Arab doctors who entered the Gaza Strip, defying the danger, and carrying their noble humanitarian message in the most difficult circumstances, as their presence is at the heart of the tragedy, along with their Palestinian colleagues, embodies the highest meanings of professional solidarity and human duty.
