The Arab Parliament condemns the bombing of the Baptist Hospital in Gaza

Muhammad bin Ahmed Al -Yamahi, the head of the Arab Parliament, expressed his strong condemnation and condemnation of the heinous crime committed by the Israeli occupation through his direct targeting of the Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip, which led to his complete departure from service in a flagrant violation of all international covenants and norms, foremost of which is international humanitarian law and Geneva Conventions.
The President of the Arab Parliament stressed – in a statement issued today – that this crime represents a new episode in the series of systematic crimes and violations committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people and a deliberate targeting of civil and medical facilities, including hospitals that are a human haven that cannot be violated under any circumstance … and transgressing all red lines.
Al -Yamahi warned of “the serious repercussions of the continuation of international silence towards these crimes, which gave the green light to the occupation to continue in the war of extermination that has been going on for more than 19 months, and more than 170 thousand martyrs and wounded were killed in addition to the missing persons in systematic planning to empty the land from its people and eliminate the Palestinian presence.”
The President of the Arab Parliament called on “the international community with all its institutions, led by the Security Council and the World Health Organization, and international and regional parliaments to assume their legal, humanitarian and moral responsibilities, urgent intervention to stop these grave violations, horrific crimes and the war of genocide against innocent civilians and women, and work to provide international protection for the Palestinian people and medical facilities in the Gaza Strip.”
Al -Yamahi stressed “the full Arab parliament standing alongside the Palestinian people in its fair struggle to obtain its legitimate rights, foremost of which is its right to life, freedom and dignity, calling for the occupation leaders accountable to hold these crimes that rise to war crimes and crimes against humanity in accordance with international law and international humanitarian law.”
