Abu Dhabi Police calls on drivers not to park under bridges and tunnels during rain

The Abu Dhabi Police Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate called on drivers not to park under bridges or inside tunnels during rain, and confirmed in a blog post on the “X” platform that these wrong practices hinder traffic movement, increase the possibility of accidents, and endanger the safety of road users, especially in light of the low level of visibility and the high risk of slipping.

She emphasized the necessity of adhering to traffic safety rules and stopping in safe places, stressing the importance of leaving a sufficient safety distance and reducing speeds.

Stay away from places where water collects or low areas that may witness a sudden flow of water, and do not be distracted by anything other than the road.
