The Head of State and the Prime Minister of Greece discuss by telephone the relations of the two countries and developments in the situation in the region

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of the Republic of Greece, during which they discussed developments in the situation in the region in light of the military escalation it is witnessing and its dangerous repercussions on regional and global security and stability, in addition to its effects on the security of international navigation and the global economy.

He renewed Greece’s condemnation of the ongoing Iranian terrorist attacks against the UAE and countries in the region, which target civilians and civilian facilities and infrastructure, stressing that they represent a violation of the sovereignty of these countries, international law, and the United Nations Charter.

The two sides also reviewed various paths of cooperation and joint work and ways to enhance them at all levels for the benefit of the two countries and their people, within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership that brings together the two countries.
