The Minister of Health discusses with the delegation of the “UNIDO” organization to enhance cooperation in developing the pharmaceutical and vaccine industry
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, held a meeting with the delegation of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization & LDQUO; Unido & rdquo; To enhance joint cooperation frameworks in supporting and developing the health sector, on the sidelines of the activities of Abu Dhabi International Health Week 2025, held in the United Arab Emirates, from April 15 to 17 this year. Sustainable and contributes to supporting the health sector. The meeting touched on ways of joint cooperation, to enhance Egypt’s capabilities in producing vaccines and pharmaceutical preparations, in a way that contributes to raising the efficiency of the local production system, according to the highest international quality standards, in a way that enhances Egypt’s ability to meet its local needs and regional needs of medicines and vaccines. The meeting witnessed the definition of areas of priority cooperation, especially the fields of technology transfer, encouraging local and international investment, and promoting sustainable industrial development, to serve the Egyptian health sector. The health sector in Egypt, to maximize the benefit of Egyptian experiences in industrial development within and outside the African continent.
