Establishing a platform for monitoring violations of the media content

The Emirates Media Council revealed its current work on implementing a pioneering project for the establishment of a “platform for monitoring violations of media content standards”, which represents a qualitative shift in consolidating the role of society as a basic partner in formulating the future of the media responsible in the UAE.

The Emirates Media Council indicated in a report exposed during the Federal National Council session, today, that the platform is being designed to activate the participation of the UAE community in its various segments in following up on media content, in a way that contributes to the sound of society present around the clock, to build a media environment that reflects the aspirations of society and preserves its authentic national identity.

The council is the most beautiful goals of the platform in enhancing positive values ​​in the media space, protecting society from the inappropriate content, ensuring the safety of future generations, as well as finding a stimulating environment for the manufacture of purposeful and responsible content, and upgrading the quality of the media content in a way that reflects the values ​​of professionalism and credibility, as well as reporting the misleading and unsafe content.
