Dubai, April 17 / WAM / The Chinese “Legend Holding” group opened its new headquarters in Dubai, stressing its vital role in deepening the growing strategic partnership between the UAE and the People’s Republic of China and enhancing its orientation towards sustainable innovation.
The opening of the new headquarters came during an official ceremony held yesterday at its headquarters in Jabal Ali, in the presence of His Excellency or Bou Qian, the Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Dubai and His Excellency Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, along with a number of government officials and representatives of partners from various sectors.
In her speech during the ceremony, His Excellency or Bo Qian confirmed the depth of the Chinese -Emirati partnership, noting that the “Leganda Holding” group represents a successful model for Chinese companies that started from modest beginnings and today it runs its operations in more than 10 countries and covers 56 regions around the world and works by more than 500 employees with production exceeding 1.5 billion dirhams during 2024.
She added: China has maintained its position as the largest commercial partner of the UAE for the eleventh year in a row, and companies such as “Legend” are one of the basic pillars of this continuous success, praising the group’s role in enhancing economic, cultural and social exchange through its active participation in various activities such as the Dubai International Forum for Project Management and the review of new vehicles with clean energy and the celebrations of the “lanterns” festival along with its charitable initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan.
For his part, His Excellency Abdullah Al Saleh said that the “Legend” group represents a bright model for the Emirati -Chinese partnership through its vital investment in the infrastructure and its contribution to achieving national priorities, especially the strategic initiative to achieve climate neutrality by 2050, stressing that Dubai is a strategic center for the operations of the group that has become a successful model for Chinese companies that were established in the UAE and turned into leading entities Regionally.
For his part, Kay Zeing, founder and chairman of the “Legend Holding Group, said that sustainability and innovation represent the main engines of long -term value, whether in the electric vehicles sector and smart mobility or in the fields of technology and digital solutions, noting that electric vehicles constituted 75% of the total sales of the group in 2024, which reflects the compatibility of its strategy with the environmental goals of the UAE and its leadership in the field of transportation The smart referring to the group’s ambition to build interconnected systems that support economic and social progress in line with the UAE Vision 2050.
