Tuesday .. Health care organizes the first annual supply chains forum

The General Authority for Health Care is organized by Dr. Ahmed Al-Sobky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Project, & quot; the first annual forum for supply chains of supply of the Public Authority for Health Care & quot;, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 11 am, in a Cairo hotel.

Organizing the forum comes within the framework of the authority’s keenness to develop the medical and logistical supply system within its institutions, and to enhance the efficiency of supply chains, in a manner that ensures the sustainability of health services and the achievement of the goals of the comprehensive health insurance system in providing safe and high-quality health care for citizens."724" Data-Start ="480"> & nbsp;

The forum has a high-level participation of the leaders of the health sector, where Dr. Ali Al-Ghamrawi, Chairman of the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Authority, and Major General Hisham State, Chairman of the Unified Purchase Authority, along with Dr. Naama Saeed Abdel, representative of the World Health Organization in Egypt, and a number of prominent personalities and specialists in the fields of health, supply and logistics."1025" Data-Start ="726"> & nbsp;

The event aims to shed light on challenges and opportunities in managing medical supply chains, and exchange of experiences and best practices between the concerned authorities, as well as supporting digital transformation and governance plans within the authority’s facilities, which contributes to improving operational efficiency and ensuring the availability of medical supplies in a sustainable manner."1294" Data-Start ="1027"> & nbsp;

The first forum of its kind within the authority is an important dialogue platform to enhance integration between the actors in the health sector, and to support national efforts towards achieving comprehensive health coverage, according to Egypt’s 2030 vision for sustainable development.
