Rabat, April 19 / WAM / His Excellency Ahmed bin Rakad Al -Amiri, CEO of the Sharjah Book Authority, emphasized that the remarkable turnout and great interaction with the Wing of the Emirate of Sharjah at the Rabat International Book Fair embodies the emirate’s position as an Arab and international cultural center and reflects the impact and strength of the cultural vision established by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, which believes that real investment begins from man. Sustainable societies.

Al -Amiri explained that the presence of Sharjah in Rabat represents a practical translation of a cultural, cultural project that extends, indicating that the true cultural act is measured by its ability to the deep impact on public awareness and its ability to create initiatives, visions and ideas that achieve its sustainability and reap its fruits.

He stressed that the widespread public and elitist interest in Sharjah’s participation is the fruit of continuous support and good directives of Sheikha Badour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Book Authority, which was keen that the emirate’s participation be a reflection of its cognitive diversity and the depth of its mission in promoting Arab and international cultural dialogue.

He said that culture is not an intellectual luxury but rather a long -term investment in building a conscious person who is able to formulate his future and openness to the experiences of the world with confidence in its roots and identity, adding that culture constitutes the broader bridge to enhance human relations between peoples and that the Arab story that extends between the East and Morocco is still alive and able to build a common future.

Al -Amiri stressed that the cultural partnership between the UAE and the Kingdom of Morocco and between Sharjah and Rabat is a role model in promoting the Arab cultural act, saying from Rabat today we continue the story and believe that culture will remain our true bet towards a sustainable Arab renaissance.
