The National Elections organizes an educational symposium to enhance political awareness of the members of the General Union of Workers’ Youth
In the context of its continuous efforts to promote political awareness among young people, the National Elections Authority organized, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, an educational seminar for the members of the General Union of Workers’ Youth at its headquarters in Cairo, within the activities of the cooperation protocol concluded with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, with the aim of spreading political awareness and deepening the culture of electoral participation among citizens, especially the youth category that is an essential pillar of the country through a different Electoral benefits. & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp;
The National Elections Authority headed by Judge Hazem Badawi, Chairman of the Authority, in the presence of Judge Ahmed Bandari, Director of the Executive Agency of the National Elections Authority, Judge Shadi Riad, Judge Sharif Siddiqi, Deputy Director of the Executive Authority, and members of the Authority’s executive. ” & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp;
In the opening speech, Judge Ahmed Bandari, Director of the Authority’s Executive Authority, transferred the greetings of Judge Hazem Badawi, Chairman of the National Elections Authority, to attend, and congratulate him on the occasion of the sooner celebration of Labor Day and also indicated his constant emphasis on the importance of organizing such seminars aimed at building a conscious and political and educated generation capable of active participation in public life. & nbsp; & nbsp;
The judge, Director of the Executive Agency for the National Elections Authority, presented a detailed presentation that dealt with the establishment of the authority, its formation and specializations, and the nature and mechanisms of its work in organizing and managing the elections and referendums, whether inside or outside Egypt, reviewing the most prominent constitutional entitlements that the authority has organized since its foundation. & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; ” The elections are used to use modern means to produce elections and referendums without a single error regarding the similarity of names by using the non -repetitive national number system, which he explained in detail to show all means of safety in them. & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp;
Judge Sherif Siddiq, Deputy Director of the Executive Agency for the National Elections Authority, explained that the system of the administrative entities database that the authority uses to purify the voter database aims to establish a reliable system, and added that the electoral centers are examined under the supervision of the National Elections Authority with the participation of the various concerned authorities, to ensure its readiness during the elections and referendums. & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp;
The symposium witnessed the keenness of the Director of the Executive Authority and his deputies to open extensive discussions with members of the Workers Youth Union, where young people present raised many questions and inquiries about the electoral process and the importance of their role in this process. A national duty, and is considered one of the main pillars of the democratic process, which contributes to the stability of the state and the organization of its powers and national institutions. & nbsp; & nbsp; ” And their hopes.
