The Indian Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday that India will close a major border crossing with Pakistan, the day after an attack targeting civilians in Kashmir, the worst in years.
Foreign Minister Vicar Missri told reporters in New Delhi that the Atari-Waja border crossing “will be closed immediately,” adding that the holders of good travel documents can return before May 1.
India also plans to freeze a vital water -sharing treaty with Pakistan, noting that it holds its rival for the bloody attack in Kashmir.
