Amna Al -Rumaihi and Ibrahim Apple on the Forbes list for the 10 most prominent officials of “Real Estate”

The list of the 10 most prominent government officials playing an important role in drawing the features of the real estate sector in the Arab countries, which was published by the “Forbes” magazine, included both the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning Amna Al -Rumaihi, and CEO of the Real Estate Organization Corporation, Ibrahim Apple. Forbes indicated that governments represent a major aspect in the real estate sector, as it determines the policies supporting this industry, and organized it at the same time, to protect consumers, as the magazine monitored the 10 most prominent government officials in Arab countries who have a prominent role in supporting the real estate sector.
Forbes referred to the date of the assumption of Minister Al -Rumaihi in November 2022, when she headed in the same month of 2024, the first meeting of the joint committee between the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the Supreme Council for Women, to implement residential solutions and develop 49 residential apartments for Bahraini women divorced, widows and abandoned. In March 2025, Al -Rumaihi announced an executive plan, in partnership with the Housing Bank, to implement the royal guidance by providing 50 thousand housing units and improving public services.
Forbes also noted the assumption of the CEO of the Real Estate Organization for its position in August 2024, where the institution received 11 requests to license projects on the map at a value of 678.1 million dollars, including major housing and commercial projects, which provides real estate opportunities for local and foreign investment.
She explained that Apple previously held the membership of the Investment Committee in the Health Council of the Cooperation Council states, and served as the Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy in Bahrain, and the vice -chairman of the Gulf Piotk Company. The list included the head of the General Authority for Regulating the Real Estate Sector “Real Estate” in Qatar, Khaled Al -Obaidli, who launched a growth strategy for “real estate”, and plans to establish a real estate institute in cooperation with national universities, to enhance the governance of the sector and professional development. He also presented Qatar’s smart cities strategy, focusing on sustainability and transparency, and the availability of accurate data for investors.
The Minister of Municipalities and Housing in Saudi Arabia, Majid Al -Hogail, came on the list, where he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Development Fund, the Saudi Real Estate Finance Company, and the General Authority for the Real Estate, and launched the “Sakani” program to benefit 55 thousand Saudi families of solutions and housing options in the first half of 2024.
From the UAE, the list mentioned the chairman of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, Mohamed Al -Shurafa, which holds the membership of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the chairmanship of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi, and the chairmanship of the Etihad Airways Group Management Council, and the Securities and Commodities Authority.
As well as the general manager of the Dubai Land and Property Department, the Acting Director of Dubai Municipality, and a member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai Marwan bin Ghalita.
From Egypt, the name of the Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Sherif El -Sherbiny, who launched the executive plan for the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative.
Among the Sultanate of Oman is the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning Khalfan Al -Shuaili, and his most prominent achievements are to work on developing the technical system of smart cities, and 24 agreements to provide infrastructure services for 8 residential projects.
And from Jordan, the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Maher Abu Al -Shammun, who was charged with implementing and managing a project to develop land for housing purposes in areas that witness population pressure. Abu Al -Shamm is also the chairman of the General Housing and Urban Development Corporation.
From Kuwait, Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, Minister of State for Housing Affairs, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Organization for Housing Welfare Abdullatif Al -Mashari, who signed 4 new contracts to build 6455 housing units in 7 suburbs, within the facilitated housing project, complementing 6 decades with a total value of $ 2.5 billion. And contracts worth $ 850 million in infrastructure in the South Saad Al -Abdullah city project.
